Optimization of the oscillating rod of a cutting head of an industrial cutting/printing machine. By using composite materials the part initially consisting of three components can be manufactured as one component. Advantages: simple assembly, noise-reduction, lighter weight. The component was manufactured by applying the Composite Flow Moulding (CFM) technique.
